VAC Committee Meetings

The VAC Committee meets every two months to review and plan the club’s activities and to discuss policy and financial issues. A summary of the key points from the last meeting is available here.

If VAC club members wish to make comments, provide feedback or ask for an issue to be included on the meeting agenda for consideration by the Committee, please contact the Secretary or another member of the  Committee.   

Offers to help or officiate at VAC’s events are always welcome. Please contact the Officials Secretary if you are willing and able to volunteer some of your time.

Committee meetings are held in a meeting room at the East Croydon United Reformed Church, Addiscombe Grove, East Croydon CR0 5LP. Alternatively they may be held virtually using Zoom. 

 

2023 Annual General Meeting

The 2023 AGM took place at 7pm on Monday 11 September at the Civil Service Club, 13-15 Great Scotland Yard, London SW1A 2HJ.

The agenda includes the following proposal from VAC's Committee:

"That VAC's Committee should consult VAC members and investigate the case for changing the club into a limited company with a view to making a recommendation for a suitable model at the 2024 AGM or earlier EGM".

VAC Constitution and Disciplinary/Complaints Procedure 

An updated VAC Constitution was ratified at the 2018 AGM. Here is a copy of the  Constitution. In accordance with the Constitution, VAC’s disciplinary/complaints policies and procedures are published  here on the VAC website. 

Data Privacy

OpenTrack data is used for membership and competition management and shared with third parties to the extent that it is necessary for these purposes.  Members have given their permission for this by joining VAC or another BMAF area club or becoming a BMAF Open Member.  OpenTrack data privacy notice

VAC members will only receive messages of general interest in respect of membership and competition management as well as information about future events in accordance with their Athletics Interests defined in OpenTrack. They can opt out of these mass communications either by “Unsubscribing” to any communications or by ticking the opt-out box in OpenTrack.
