Anna Critchlow 2:59:34 at Cutty Sark, Susannah Harrison 3:08:40

Steve Smythe 2:46:47, Mike Peel finished his 27th London in 4:30:32
16-05-07
The first time I've done over 4 hours but it was not very nice in
the heat, and as you know I don't run very much (about 300 miles last
year but cycled 9500 miles) I raised over £1000 for Downs Syndrome
Scotland in memory of my cousin who died age 27 playing rugby of sudden
death syndrome, and leaves his sister who has Downs as an only child.
With such a low running mileage at least I never get injured.

Alan Roberts has told us "For info I ran London my 23rd
consecutive one (Vale of Aylesbury) improving on last year by a couple
of minutes with a time of 3.36.20 (4022nd overall and 816th Vet 40)."

John Nye of Dagenham is running for Little Haven Children's Hospice.
"John will be running his 18th London Marathon this year in London for
Little Haven¹s Children's Hospice. Every year he runs with a single red
rose which he used to give to his wife who he lost 11 years ago. He now
has a new partner and this year will be handing over his rose to her at
the finish line." |
